I have been practicing this amazing yoga for over 12 years. The impact and change it has had on my life has been profound.
Having worked in the restaurant industry for almost 35 years and working 50/60 hours a week in a very stressful environment, Bikram Yoga helped me so much to stay sane and centered. Thank god it was there to help and support me change the direction of my life.
In 2008 I decided to sell up and go to teacher training and never looked back. I opened the studio in 2010 and it feels like another home to me. I love having a space which allows me to share my passion and love for this yoga through teaching and nurturing others.
“When you find something that you love doing …. You never have to work again!!”
Sanjai came to yoga initially from many years of reading philosophy and understanding what life is all about. From the beginning of that journey some 20 years ago he has tried many systems of yoga, meditation, healing. During that time he qualified in reiki, Thai massage, kaladi nadi massage and of course Bikram yoga. Outside the studio Sanjai works with individuals and corporate clients in various endeavours, especially in the fields of self fulfilment, so it is with great pleasure that he gets a chance to bring the wealth of all his experience and expertise to teach a class.
“If you enjoy being challenged, encouraged, developing a sense of humour and the ability to fall in love with yourself thoroughly then I sincerely suggest you try a 90 minute class of Bikram. I absolutely love to get a full class moving energetically as one and revel in the interactions that are created in each and every class. Each is unique, each is special, and it is a sheer pleasure and joy to teach!!!!”
Yasmine is an enthusiastic and positive teacher with a great passion for yoga. Since graduating from Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in November 2005 she aspires to continually grow as a teacher and student.
After many years at a computer studying to be and working as a designer, Yasmine was looking for something to help with back pain, bad posture and general health. She discovered Bikram yoga and it turned her life around for the better. She loved the yoga so much and how it had such a positive effect on her life she decided to become a teacher.
Yoga continues to benefit and improve Yasmine’s life immensely and she feels very happy and privileged to be able to help people through yoga. With a desire to always teach from the heart her love for yoga and teaching always shine through.

After studying in France, she came to the UK to learn English. Sport has always been a big part of her life, from Athletics to Martial Arts. She discovered Bikram Yoga in London at the beginning of 2011 and fell in love with it: the way it created a union between mind and body and the way it changed her everyday life. Six months after practicing, she quit her job and committed to the journey, going to teacher training in Los Angeles in Spring 2012. Since then, she has enjoyed sharing her passion with everyone and expand her knowledge and technics, believing yoga is a long journey and a vast world, worth exploring time to time.

I started my journey along the yoga path about 15 years ago after witnessing the debilitating effects of a stroke which incapacitated my father. I believe that we are totally in control of our own destinies and that through taking responsibility for our own health and wellbeing we can live enriched lives. This is my life’s purpose and I’ve dedicated myself to helping people unravel and uncover their truth through yoga practice. I was blessed to be able to learn from the source, my first yoga teachers training course was in 2006 in an ashram in India, I returned to the ashram in 2009 and took the advanced teachers training course. Upon my return to London I started practicing Bikram and fell instantly in love with the heat. In 2011 I spent 9 intensive weeks training to become a Certified Bikram Yoga Instructor with Bikram Choudhury in LA. I have been teaching full time since and more recently trained with Ana Forrest and have completed both the Foundation as well as the Advanced Forrest Yoga Teacher Trainings. I teach a variety of styles, including workshops to children, teenagers and adults with learning disabilities. When I’m not teaching, which is hardly ever I find great joy in hanging out with my husband and playing with “Pixie” my cat as well as my two bearded dragons “Shakti” & “Kali”. See you in class and always speak your truth even if your voice shakes.

Kee has been practising Bikram Yoga since May 2011 following a recommendation from a personal trainer, who advised it would improve his flexibility and general posture. Having suffered from sciatic pain in his left leg for a few years and following regular visits to a chiropractor and massage therapist, Kee decided to give Bikram Yoga a try and has never looked back. After a few classes his sciatic pain had improved, after a few weeks there was more muscle tone and flexibility, and after a few months there was more mental focus which helped deal with challenging situations outside of the hot room. In February 2012, Kee attended a Bikram Yoga retreat in India where the practice of 2 classes a day and posture clinics helped deepen his focus and understanding of BY. It was during this time he started thinking of the possibility of becoming a certified teacher, with the knowledge that he could pass on the physical and mental healing benefits of BY to others. After 12 years of working behind a desk on IT Projects, Kee decided it was time for a change and enrolled on Teacher Training in Los Angeles, Autumn 2012. BY has changed his outlook on life, made him a much stronger person both mentally and physically . Think of the practise as 90mins of breathing and the rest will work itself out…”
Ros loves her sofa, and is rarely happier than when she is sitting on it with a brand new box set of DVDs and a cup of coffee. But towards the end of 2008 she realised that the sofa was not going to help her tone up for the Christmas party season, so she grabbed a willing friend and headed to her first Bikram Yoga class. Little did she know that yoga would not only outlive the party season, but that toning up was just one of many benefits her practice would bring. Wanting to make yoga a more central part of her life and to help others to discover how transformative the Bikram series can be, Ros went to Teacher Training in Spring 2013.
Ros loves to be surprised by her students, which she is in every class. She teaches with humour and compassion and firmly believes that every class should be a celebration of the strength of will and good intention that brought you into the room that day.

A friend persuaded me to take up yoga. I went to Training in Spring 2012. I am inspired by continuously learning and growing within myself and seeing the same in others. Yoga is one of the ways that I am able to facilitate that growth.
I’m originally from the Czech Republic. I have been living in the UK for the past 14 years. I started my practise in August 2011 and soon became addicted to this yoga. I was doing the 30, 60 and over 100 days challenges, as well as taking up the challenge of doing 6 classes in one day across 6 different studios. I became much calmer, more focused, stronger and passionate about my practise. It has been life changing. In September 2014 I finally made it to Bikram yoga Teacher Training in Thailand! Best experience ever!

I started practicing a different kind of yoga about 15 years ago when I lived in Germany. After moving to London, it was difficult to find a teacher who could help me deepen my practice. Eventually I did, but it was quite a trek and, at the time, I had quite young children. Then a Bikram studio opened very close to my house. I was hesitant at first but started practicing on Jan 31st 2007 (Yes, you never forget your first class), and I’ve never looked back ! When did you go on training? I went to training in Los Angeles in “Fall” 2011 What gives you inspiration? I love watching students with beautiful practices, but I am inspired by the students who come in with challenging situations – be it injuries, body shape or whatever – and have the patience to continue their practice to the best of their ability. Their progress may not be as quick, but their determination is most inspiring to me.
Anisha’s yoga journey began in 2008 after injuring her knee from Thai Boxing. From the first class she loved it – the postures, the discipline, and the mental challenge. She maintained a regular practice for a couple of years before heading off to do her first teacher training in Kerala, India in 2010. It was an intense 4 weeks, learning about all aspects of yoga and the philosophy behind it. In 2011, she attended the Bikram Yoga Teacher Training course in LA. It was a challenging and extremely diverse experience to the course in India, however she enjoyed every moment from the 2 daily classes to the late night lectures learning about anatomy, yoga and the 26 and 2 sequence. Every class is different and teaching yoga is an absolute pleasure. She loves to share and help as many people as possible and brings this through her fun-loving and passionate teaching style. Anisha regularly attends courses and workshops to learn as much as she can. In 2014, she has completed a Btec Level 5 in Sports Remedial Massage and her third teacher training course.

Claire first started practicing Bikram Yoga in 2009 in London. Following numerous running and triathlon injuries she decided to try a lower impact activity to do in-between her rigorous training program, and turned to Bikram Yoga. She was delighted with the results – no more injuries! Improved flexibility and greater strength! She also benefited from gaining greater awareness of her body and mind, and an overall sense of feeling more balanced. Claire graduated from training in Nov 2013 and is thoroughly enjoying teaching and sharing her passion and enthusiasm for Bikram Yoga with all the students.

Working for an investment bank I was constantly on the look out for activities and ways to relax, unwind and re energize. The moment I walked into the hot room in 2007 I knew I’d found what I was looking for. I loved the mental, physical and emotional challenges I faced in class and the amazing feeling of peace and calmness after. The fact that every class has the same “26 & 2” but always feels completely different. I was hooked so as my practice and love for yoga increased I decided to quit my job and complete the Bikram teacher training in LA Spring 2013. As a teacher I feel extremely grateful to be able to spread the health, happiness and positivity that Bikram yoga has brought to my life.

Luka found Bikram yoga in her second year of studying drama at the Central School of Speech and Drama as a way to deal with the stresses of daily drama school life.
After practicing her first class she realised she was pursuing the wrong career. She managed to incorporate daily Bikram practice into her busy school schedule while maintaining a pub job on the side. Bikram was the only thing that kept her going, so in Spring 2013, soon after graduating, she went to teacher training.
Luka loves the calming effect that Bikram Yoga can bring. “I used to have a constant mind chatter that I’d just grown to accept, but after a year of regular practice the mind chatter stopped. I could breathe and enjoy life in the present moment. It has absolutely transformed my life.”

Bikram yoga challenges me and calms me both physically and mentally in varying measures every time I practise.
Apart from the overall health benefits, practising Bikram yoga has enriched my life in ways that I could not have anticipated. Ultimately, I am happier in my own skin thanks to Bikram yoga.
Teaching this wonderful yoga is a privilege, every single class.
I look forward to seeing you in the hot room.
